About Trademark Flooring

Built From the Floor Up

Trademark Flooring was not built by someone who decided flooring looked like a good business opportunity. It grew out of years spent actually installing floors, working in homes, learning the trades, and seeing where the customer experience kept falling short. Today, we are a local West Jordan flooring company with a showroom, an installation team, and more than 100 five-star Google reviews. The goal is still the same: help people make a good flooring decision, do the work right, and make the project easier to live through.

A Few Things to Know
Meet the Owner

Tyler Weaver

Tyler grew up in Pennsylvania and got his start at a local flooring store, where he spent four years learning installation hands-on. From there he worked around custom cabinetry and general contracting, which gave him a broader understanding of how flooring interacts with the rest of a remodel.

Flooring was the trade he kept coming back to. He eventually started subcontract installation work of his own, then moved to Utah and began rebuilding that network here.

In 2020, Tyler purchased a flooring business from a retiring owner and took over the showroom space in West Jordan. That gave him the opportunity to combine the part of the industry he knew best, installation, with the part homeowners often needed more help with, product selection and project planning.

He still stays involved because the standards of the company are easier to protect when ownership is close to the actual work. Trademark is not trying to become a national flooring chain. The goal is to be the local company people feel comfortable calling again when the next room, house, or property needs flooring.

Small Team. Clear Accountability.

You Are Not Getting Passed Through a Giant Sales Department

Trademark Flooring is intentionally local and hands-on. That means fewer layers between the person helping you choose the floor and the people responsible for making sure the project works.

Carter Wilde works with customers on the sales side, helping homeowners compare products, answer questions, and move from “I have no idea what I want” to a direction that actually makes sense.

What We Are Built On

Five Standards We Keep Coming Back To

These are not slogans for the wall. They are the practical standards we use when deciding how a project should be handled.

01

Recommend the Floor That Fits the House

Kids, pets, moisture, maintenance, traffic, budget, and the rooms around it all matter. We would rather narrow the options honestly than sell the most expensive sample.

02

Treat Installation as Part of the Product

A great material can still become a bad floor if preparation, layout, transitions, or trim are rushed. The installation has to receive the same attention as the product choice.

03

Say What the Project Actually Needs

If existing hardwood can be saved, we will tell you. If the subfloor needs work, we will show you. Clear recommendations matter more than making every project bigger.

04

Keep the Process Understandable

Measurements, material ordering, prep, scheduling, installation, and finishing details should not feel like separate mysteries. We keep the project connected from start to finish.

05

Communicate Like It Is Someone's Home

Answer the phone. Show up when expected. Explain changes. Finish what was promised. Those basics are a big part of why people remember a contractor positively or negatively.

Why Trademark Exists

Homeowners Should Not Have to Become Flooring Experts Just to Avoid Making a Bad Decision.

Too many flooring projects start with a wall of samples, vague pricing, and pressure to choose quickly. We wanted the experience to work differently. Our job is to understand the home, explain the tradeoffs, give you a clear direction, and then stand behind the installation.

Rooted in West Jordan

A Real Showroom, a Local Service Area, and Work You Can See

Trademark Flooring is based at 4037 Nike Drive, Suite E in West Jordan. The showroom gives homeowners a place to compare hardwood, LVP, carpet, and laminate in person, while our in-home consultations let us bring selected samples directly to the room being updated.

We work throughout Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and surrounding Wasatch Front communities. Being local matters because this is not anonymous fulfillment. We are selling, installing, and standing behind flooring in the same communities where we work every week.
