Flooring Help That Starts With the Problem, Not the Product

If your floors are worn out, damaged, dated, or simply wrong for the way you use the room, you do not need to walk in knowing the exact product you want. Trademark Flooring helps homeowners figure out what makes sense first, then handles the flooring work that follows, from product selection and floor prep to installation, hardwood refinishing, trim, and cleanup.

Where Do We Start?

What Do You Need Help With?

Most people contact us because something about the current floor is not working. Start there. We can sort out the material and scope after we understand the house and what you want to change.

01

I Need to Replace Old Flooring

Carpet is worn, laminate is dated, or several rooms no longer flow together. We can measure the space, remove the existing floor, help you compare materials, and install the replacement.

02

My Hardwood Is Scratched, Dull, or Damaged

If the wood itself is still worth keeping, refinishing or targeted repairs may make more sense than tearing it out. We can look at the condition and tell you what is realistic.

03

I’m Remodeling and Don’t Know What Flooring to Choose

Kitchens, basements, stairs, pets, sunlight, and adjoining rooms all change the decision. We help narrow the options based on the house, not just the sample board.

04

I Need the Flooring Side of the Project Handled

For larger remodels and whole-home updates, we can coordinate product selection, measurements, removal, preparation, installation, transitions, baseboards, and the final details.

One Team, More of the Project

The Floor Is Only One Part of the Job

A clean installation is easier when the person measuring the project understands what the installer will need, and the installer knows how the room is supposed to finish.

That is why we look at flooring as a complete project instead of a box of material plus labor.

01

Choose the right direction

We look at the rooms, existing floor, traffic, moisture, pets, maintenance, style, and budget before narrowing down products.

02

Figure out what is underneath

Removal and subfloor conditions can change the project. We look at that before the new floor covers it.

03

Install the floor correctly

Layout, acclimation where required, transitions, stairs, edges, and product-specific installation details all matter.

04

Finish the room, not just the floor

Baseboards, trim, cleanup, and the final walkthrough are part of what makes the project feel complete.

Repair or Replace?

Sometimes the Best Flooring Service Is Knowing What Not to Tear Out

If you have existing hardwood, we would rather tell you it can be saved than sell you a replacement you do not need. If the floor has reached the end of its useful life, we will explain that too.

Replace It

When a New Floor Makes More Sense

Replacement is usually the better route when the material is worn through, the layout is changing, moisture has caused damage, or you want a completely different type of flooring.

Restore It

When the Existing Hardwood Is Worth Saving

Scratches, worn finish, dull color, and isolated board damage do not automatically mean the hardwood needs to come out. In many homes, repair and refinishing can preserve the floor that is already there.

Room by Room

Flooring Advice Changes Depending on Where It Is Going

The same flooring is not automatically the right answer everywhere in the house. We pay attention to how the room is used and what the floor has to deal with every day.

Basements

Moisture risk, slab conditions, comfort, and temperature can push a basement project toward very different materials than the main floor.

Kitchens & Main Living Areas

These rooms need to balance appearance with spills, foot traffic, furniture, sunlight, and how the floor connects to surrounding spaces.

Stairs & Transitions

Stair noses, direction changes, height differences, and adjoining materials can make a good product look unfinished if they are treated as an afterthought.

Pets & Busy Households

Scratch resistance, traction, cleanup, noise, and how quickly wear becomes visible matter more than a sample’s marketing label.

Local Flooring Services

Salt Lake Homes Do Not All Need the Same Floor

A flooring project in an older Salt Lake City home can bring different questions than a newer build in South Jordan or a basement in West Jordan. Existing hardwood may be worth restoring. A slab may need a different installation approach. Adjoining rooms may already have several floor heights and materials to work around.

Trademark Flooring is based in West Jordan and serves homeowners throughout Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and nearby Wasatch Front communities. We use the conditions in the home to guide the project instead of treating every floor plan the same.
